Undergraduate Programs

There are 43 undergraduate programs (https://zhaosheng.sdju.edu.cn/4834/list.htm) available for international students, among which 4 majors are taught in English: International Economy and Trade from 2012, Automation from 2015, Software Engineering from 2016 and Marketing from 2020.

(1) Automation

Core Courses: Circuit Theory, Electronics, Digital Logic circuit, Principles & Interface Techniques of Micro-computer, Automatic Control Principle, Principles and Applications of the Programmable Logic Control, Sensor and Detection Technology, DCS and Field Bus Technology, Process control, Computer Control Technology.

Employment prospects: Graduates are widely distributed and work in automation technology for enterprises, research institutes, telecommunications, finance, commerce, and other units. They can also engage in installation, debugging, operation, maintenance, and technical management in intelligent manufacturing industry production control, and other fields.

(2) Software Engineering

Core Courses: Advanced Programming Language, Object-Oriented Programming (JAVA), Data Structures(JAVA), Database Principles and Application, Software Engineering, Software Testing and Quality Assurance, Software Project Management, WEB Programming.

Employment prospects: This major is a wide calibre major, with a research scope covering computer applications, software development, software implementation, software testing, information processing, and many other fields. Job opportunities include software development, software implementation, software testing, software maintenance, and software technical support for modern manufacturing enterprises, information departments in modern service industries, and information technology enterprises.

(3) International Economy and Trade

Core Courses: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Principle of Management Science, Principles of Accounting, International Economics, International Trade Practice, International Marketing, International Business Law, International Trade Finance, Supply Management Chain & Purchase.

Employment prospects: International trade personnel (freight forwarders, documents, customs declaration, inspection); Financial/insurance investments; International market research, planning, and supporting work in international trade dispute mediation; Primary financial work or business management in various overseas-related enterprises and institutions; International trade and economics management in the relative departments of the government; Or establishing international trade companies after getting familiar with the business.

(4) Marketing

Core Courses: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Principle of Management Science, Principles of Accounting, Principles of Marketing, Service Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Market Research, Integrated Marketing Communication, International Marketing.

Employment prospects: Marketing graduates can engage in market research, marketing planning, market development, marketing management, promotional services, etc. With the rapid development of information and networking trends, large and medium-sized e-commerce platforms and service enterprises are increasingly in demand for marketing talents. Marketing personnel are indispensable talents for various enterprises, especially large enterprises.
