The results of the Digital Design Dimensions Show (3D Show) were recently announced. The Yueteng Tech Team, an innovation team founded independently by students of Shanghai DianJi University, performed with composure and confidence amid fierce competition from leading university teams nationwide. Demonstrating their project concepts and practical value in full, the team won one national first prize, one second prize, and one third prize. These achievements highlight the students’ strong professional expertise and their spirit of innovation and determination to push boundaries.
Yuteng Tech Team is an interdisciplinary innovation and entrepreneurship practice team formed by students from SDJU School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Robotics. Drawing on their knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering, the team focuses on 3D digital innovation and design to address practical engineering challenges. During preparation, team members worked collaboratively, refining every aspect of their projects through repeated improvements—from conceptual development and 3D modeling to structural optimization and presentation rehearsals. In doing so, they transformed classroom theoretical knowledge into practical innovative design results.
In addition to the 3D Show, the team has also remained committed to other innovation and entrepreneurship competitions. Its achievements include 2 national projects under China College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (CCSIIEC) and 12 provincial or university-level projects. The team also participated in a range of high-level competitions, including the “Challenge Cup” science and technology competitions, Shanghai Mechanical Engineering Innovation Competition, and Shanghai Engineering Practice and Innovation Ability Competition. To date, the team has won more than 10 national prizes and over 60 provincial and municipal prizes in Category A competitions.
These honors are the result of the team’s sustained commitment to innovation and research practice, and they also showcase SDJU’s achievements in innovation and entrepreneurship education. Looking ahead, Yueteng Tech Team will continue to build on its professional expertise and pursue excellence in innovative design. Our university will also continue to develop platforms for innovation and entrepreneurship practice, encouraging more young students to learn through competition, develop their capabilities through hands-on innovation, and make the most of their youthful potential.
