On October 13, 2025 China Universities Aircraft Design Competition (CUADC) Finals successfully concluded in Deqing, Zhejiang Province. With collaborative support from School of Aeronautics, SDJU CCYL Committee, and Industrial Center, SDJU Cloud-wing Aeromodelling Team (CWAT) competed alongside top universities including Beihang University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Xiamen University, winning two second prizes in the Electric Glider Controlled Flight and UAV Short Takeoff and Landing, as well as one third team prize in the Electric Glider Controlled Flight.

During the competition, CWAT members demonstrated strong teamwork and maintained a proactive problem-solving attitude in the face of intense challenges. The team actively benchmarked itself against leading standards in the industry, drawing valuable experience in aerospace engineering practice and innovative project development from participating teams. Focusing on enhancing engineering capabilities and technological innovation, the team engaged in in-depth technical exchanges with universities such as Beijing Institute of Technology and Tianjin University. Through the competition, they identified areas for improvement, and through exchanges, they continued to enhance their capabilities, fully demonstrating the professional competence and aerospace aspirations of SDJU students.
