SDJU held a successful international recruitment fair at the University of Naples Federico II (UNINA) Conference Center in Naples Italy, on April 16. Led by Vice President Yang Junjie, the recruitment drive was held to further implement the university’s talent-strengthening strategy, enhance the internationalization of its faculty, and attract more outstanding overseas professionals.

The faired commenced with Vice President Yang giving an overview of SDJU.He covered SDJU history, disciplinary development, and faculty strength, comprehensively outlined SDJU strengths and promising future. He also outlined the university's talent attraction policies, covering areas of recruitment, career support, competitive salary, and housing benefits, highlighting the supportive environment SDJU offers for faculty growth. Professor Liu Weiliang from School of Aeronautics (SA) shared his personal experience, illustrating the distinctive features and strengths of SDJU’s talent recruitment approach from a practical standpoint.He also briefed overseas attendees on SA’s current status, hiring needs, and lab resources for aeronautical research.


During the interactive session, overseas participants actively raised questions on a range of topics, including discipline and major development, working environment, and career advancement. SDJU leaders and relevant department heads responded in detail, fostering a dynamic and engaging atmosphere.

The fair also included one-on-one discussions for prospective candidates, offering those interested in joining our university an opportunity to learn more about the institution while enabling a sharper profile of the applicants’ professional backgrounds and research interests. Attendees eagerly submitted resumesfollowing positive interactive impression, and some candidates reached preliminary intent on potential employment.

Overseas recruitment fair represents a key initiative of SDJU’s talent-driven university strategy. This fair provided a valuable opportunity for outstanding overseas professionals to interact directly with SDJU, deepening their understanding of SDJU’s distinctive industry-education integration philosophy and its policies on talent attraction and nurturing. The fair also further elevated SDJU’s visibility and influence on the international stage.
Moving forward, SDJU will continue to refine its top-level design for faculty development and continuously deepen the implementation of its talent-strengthening strategy. SDJU plans to further focus on attracting excellent overseas talent to inject more international dynamism into its specialized development and provide strong international talent support, thereby accelerating the internationalization of its teaching staff.
