Recently, Lu Xionggang, Secretary of CPC SDJU Committee, led a team to visit Broetje-Automation GmbH in Germany. The two sides jointly unveiled SDJU Sino-German Center for Integration of Education and Industry (CIEI), marking a new stage in our university’s cooperation with Germany in of the field of industry-education integration.
In his speech at the unveiling ceremony, Lu Xionggang emphasized that the SDJU CIEI would open international internships and employment channels for our students. Through cooperation with Broetje, students would have access to cutting-edge international knowledge and practical experience, enhancing their global competitiveness. Our university will also promote the faculty participation in international research projects to elevate teaching and research standards and stimulate academic innovation. Leveraging the Lin-gang Special Area, the Center will attract more German enterprises and universities to join, collectively creating a model for international industry-education integration and promoting regional economic prosperity.

Peter stated that Broetje will work closely with SDJU to utilize CIEI to address technological challenges, drive innovation and application in automation technology, and maintain an industry-leading position. At the same time, the company will offer internship and employment opportunities to SDJU students, cultivating high-quality talents with practical experience, fulfilling corporate social responsibility, and promoting sustainable development.
This collaboration will open new pathways for Sino-German cooperation in the fields of education and technology, inject new vitality into Lin-gang, and promote high-quality regional economic development. Several German universities already cooperating with our university, as well as Chinese enterprises investing in Germany, have expressed strong interest in the center. They look forward to expanding the scope of cooperation and deepening the Sino-German industry-education integration model in the future.
