【Sino-German Cooperation】The 10th KUAS Delegation Successfully Completed Its SDJU Visit

On the morning of September 26th, 2024, SDJU held a farewell party for the delegation from Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences (KUAS) in Yi Bookstore on the second floor of Student Center. Vice President Yang Junjie, representatives from Office of International Cooperation and Exchange (OICE), heads of KKIP, and student volunteers gave a farewell meeting to the departing delegation. The meeting marked the successful conclusion of the 10-day cultural exchange program, and the continuation of a long-term friendly cooperation and exchange. It was also an occasion to celebrate this successful cultural tripwhich was drawing to an end.


In his speech, Vice President Yang highlighted deep friendship between the two institutions and expressed his sincere appreciation for performance of the delegation during their stay in SDJU. He said that despite short, the visit greatly enriched SDJU campus life, and enhanced the friendship and cooperation between the two universities.


KUAS Professor Ludwig Eugen Peetz, head of the delegation, expressed his heartfelt thanks to SDJU for the warm reception and emphasized that this exchange is a valuable learning and growth opportunity for all participating students and faculty. He believes that the emotional ties between the two universities will deepen over time, and that this close partnership not only promotes academic and cultural exchanges, but also provides valuable learning and growth opportunities for students and faculty on both sides. He hopes to continue to participate in this program every year to witness and promote the continuous development of the cooperation between the two universities.

Representatives of the Chinese students shared activities and photos in the past 10 days, and valuable experiences they learned in culture, learning and life.

Representatives of German students expressed their deep gratitude to SDJU and marveled at what they had seen and heard in Shanghai and China.

SDJU presented certificates of completion to members of the delegation in recognition of their active participation and achievements in this program.

Faculty and students of the two universities look forward to continuing to work together in the future to promote cultural exchanges between China and Germany, to maintain and strengthen the bonds of friendship, and to jointly open a more brilliant new chapter in cooperation.
