On October 28, SDJU Lin-gang Campus witnessed the launching ceremony of SDJU volunteers to the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE). Eighty SDJU Little Leaves were ready to embark on their journey, charging forward with youthfulness and enthusiasm.
Looking back at the past six CIIEs, SDJU Little Leaves have fulfilled their responsibilities with actions, displayed youth with passion, honed their skills, and demonstrated their spirit of dedication.

This year, our university customized a unique CIIE commemorative badge, shaped like the number 7. The badge comprises three smaller parts. The top features SDJU-1 satellite, symbolizing SDJU students’ space aspirations and their dream of national rejuvenation. The commitment of SDJUers is showcased on the stage of CIIE or on the way to build a powerful space nation. The middle displays our university motto, hoping that every Little Leaf will implement SDJU motto wherever they go, always striving forward, guided by seeking virtue and perfection, studying extensively and practicing earnestly. The bottom combines the CIIE mascot Jinbao with the SDJU building, connected by a four-leaf clover, symbolizing the continuation of story between CIIE and SDJU.
Our university also thoughtfully prepared neck pillows for volunteers, hoping to relieve fatigue and give more comfort to them during their commutes. Power banks can ensure that phones of Little Leaves are always fully charged. The portable bags can hold not only volunteers’ personal items, but also expectations of SDJU faculty and students.
Liang Shuang, a four-time Little Leaf CIIE volunteer, shared his prior experiences in CIIEs. This year, he will continue to uphold the firm belief of service and dedication and join the other 79 SDJU Little Leaves, striking up the most resounding tune of the new era on CIIE stage.
