Russian Education Delegation Visits SDJU

On October 29, a Russian education delegation visited SDJU. President Gong Siyi and Vice president Wang Hongzhi received the delegation at Room 230 of the Administration Building on Lin-gang Campus. Representatives from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange (OICE), School of Electronics and Information Engineering, School of Business, School of Design and Arts, and International Education School were also present to welcome the guests.

President Gong extended a warm welcome to the Russian delegation. She expressed that SDJU has always been committed to establishing broad cooperative relationships with universities worldwide. She hoped that this visit would further deepen the understanding and friendship between SDJU and Russian universities, and jointly promote cooperation and development in the field of education. OICE introduced SDJU’s unique characteristics, talent cultivation, industry-education integration, and international development.

Wang Caihong, Director of the Strategic Cooperation Department of TANG Chinese Education & Technology Ltd. (TCET), expressed gratitude for SDJU’s warm reception. She introduced the efforts and achievements of TCET in promoting Sino-Russian Chinese language education cooperation, and expressed her willingness to provide more Chinese language learning resources and opportunities for Russian students, thereby promoting cultural exchange and communication between China and Russia.

The delegation members included Ms. Dubrovskaia Anastasiia, Deputy Director of the International Relations Office of the Russian Agency for Strategic Initiatives, as well as leaders, professors, and experts from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Moscow Academy of Contemporary Art, Eurasian Economic Union Parliamentary University, and Buryat State Agricultural Academy. The delegation members shared the latest progress of their respective institutions in terms of strategy planning development, education system construction, and international cooperation and exchange.


During the meeting, delegation members and SDJU faculty conducted in-depth group discussions based on their respective specialties. The two sides had extensive exchanges on their respective professional fields, curriculum settings, teaching methods, and scientific research cooperation, and jointly explored the possibility of cooperation in student exchange and joint cultivation programs. Through discussion, both sides deepened mutual understanding and laid a solid foundation for future cooperation.


The visit of the Russian education delegation not only provided a new platform for our university to exchange and cooperate with Russian universities but also injected new impetus into the in-depth development of Sino-Russian educational relations. It is believed that with the joint efforts of both sides, more cooperation projects will be implemented in the future, and more high-caliber talents with international vision and innovation capabilities will be jointly cultivated.

Prior to the meeting, OICE accompanied the Russian education delegation to visit the Lin-gang Campus of SDJU. The delegation members spoke highly of SDJU’s campus environment, teaching facilities, and student activity venues. (by: Office of International Cooperation and Exchange)
