SDJU Student Delegation Visited NIT Wakayama College

    On July 3, a delegation of 16 students and faculty from Shanghai DianJi University (SDJU) successfully arrived at NIT Wakayama College, marking the start of a 10-day cultural exchange and learning visit. The purpose of the visit was to further strengthen the friendly relationship between the two institutions and promote exchanges and collaboration in the fields of education and culture.

    Upon arrival, NIT Wakayama College held a grand welcome ceremony for the SDJU delegation. In his speechPresident Shion Inoue, highly praised the 26-year-long partnership between the two institutions, emphasizing the significance of this deep-rooted friendship in fostering educational exchange and cooperation between China and Japan. He expressed hope for even broader areas of collaboration in the future, contributing to the continued and in-depth growth of friendly relations between the two nations.

    Zhen Yijie, head of the SDJU delegation, expressed sincere gratitude to Wakayama College on  behalf of our university, stating that this visit would provide an opportunity to deepen learning and exchange efforts, particularly in cultural aspects. She hoped that both sides could make new breakthroughs and achieve common development.

    During the 10-day visit, SDJU students and faculty explored NIT Wakayama College campus, including laboratories, gymnasiums, and other educational facilities. They gained a comprehensive understanding of the institution’s learning environment, curriculum, and advanced teaching methods.

    In addition, SDJU students actively participated in student club activities at Wakayama College, experiencing the unique charm of traditional Japanese culture. Through company visits, they also gained first-hand insights into Japanese corporate culture and management models, accumulating valuable experience for their own future careers

    This cultural exchange and leaning visit have not only deepened the friendship and cooperation between SDJU and Wakayama College but also provided a valuable opportunity for faculty and students to explore Japanese culture in depth. Since establishing their partnership in 1999, the two institutions have maintained close visits and exchanges, witnessing remarkable achievements in education and culture. Looking ahead, the two sides will continue to work together, expanding practical cooperation in more fields, and contributing more to the prosperity of China-Japan relations and the development of the educational sector.
