The closing ceremony of 2024 graduate student winter camp at Munich University of Applied Sciences (MUAS) was held on March 28, 2024 in Rm. 316 of the Administration Building. MUAS Professor Renner, SDJU Professor Feng Xiao, Director of SDJU German Research Center, as well as representatives from Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges (OICE), Graduate Office and members of the winter camp took part.
OICE Teacher Zhao first gave a brief overview of the winter camp, including activities over the two weeks and its academic atmosphere. Afterwards, Yuan Shengxi, student leader of the winter camp, shared his own gains and feelings, which added vitality and positive energy to the closing ceremony.
Professor Renner presented camp participants their certificates, which were not only to recognize their academic performance, but also to stimulate their future study and development.
Professor Renner shared impressive moments of the winter camp, expressed his gratitude to SDJU for our strong support to internationalization activities and appreciated the outstanding performance of this year’s participants, and further communicated with the students to understand the strengths and weaknesses of this activity in order to prepare for the next summer camp/winter camp.
Xie Ruixue from Graduate Office emphasized the importance of international academic research and the positive impact of this winter camp on students’ academic development, and encouraged students to actively participate in international activities.
Professor Feng Xiao, Director of Germany Research Center, gave a speech and provided valuable guidance for the winter camp and 2024 summer camp in planning.
This winter camp is sure to lay a good foundation for our university to cultivate internationalized talents and promote academic exchanges.
