Dr. Wu Ruixu from School of Electronics and Information Engineering (SEIE), published his latest paper Visual Tracking based on Deformable Transformer and Spatiotemporal Information in the prestigious journal Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence (EAAI), with Dr. Wu as the first author and SDJU as first author affiliation. This collaborative effort also involved SEIE Prof. Liu Yanli and the team of Key Laboratory of Computer Vision and System, Ministry of Education, Tianjin University of Technology. As a top journal (JCR Q2) of Chinese Academy of Sciences list, EAAI currently boasts an impressive impact factor of 7.802. It is dedicated to practical applications of artificial intelligence methodologies and related engineering disciplines, regularly disseminating cutting-edge scientific research findings in the realms of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and associated fields.

In recent years, Dr. Wu has been at the forefront of research in computer vision, skillfully integrating it with artificial intelligence. His research has encompassed diverse areas, including object classification, detection, and tracking. Notably, he has published three high-level papers regarding object detection as the first author in 2021, 2022, and 2023 in SCI journals Multimedia Systems (CCF Category C, CAS JRC Q4), Knowledge-Based Systems (CCF Category C, CAS JRC Q1) and Complex & Intelligent Systems (CAS JRC Q2). This paper was a natural extension of Dr. Wu’s previous researches, and the originality and significance of his longitudinal studies were highly recognized and well praised by editors in chief and peer reviewers.
