The CGEDC is a prominent event within the spectrum of China Postgraduate Innovation & Practice Competitions (CPIPC). It upholds the tenet of “stimulating innovation, encouraging entrepreneurship, improving quality, and strengthening practice”, establishing itself as a premier electronic design contest in China. The 2023 CGEDC followed similar schedule and structure, encompassing two components: technical contest and business plan special contest. These segments involved open ended tasks as well as enterprise designated tasks. Design demonstrations and defenses were conducted, and team advancement was decided on-site. The technical contest incorporated eight specific areas: circuit and embedded system, electromechanical control and intelligent manufacturing, communication and network technology, information perception system and application, signal and information processing technology and system, artificial intelligence, technology exploration and interdisciplinary studies, and Huawei 6G advanced wireless technology exploration.

SDJU consistently emphasizes the development of innovative and practical abilities among graduate students. Using CGEDC as a strategic focal point, SDJU targets core technologies in key fields, striving to contribute to national economic development. The university remains committed to identifying, nurturing, and pooling talents through innovative practices.

In this year’s CGEDC Shanghai Final, SDJU teams achieved remarkable success, winning a total of 6 first prizes (with 2 advancing to the national contest), 13 second prizes, and 5 third prizes. (By Education Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Graduate Office)
