The 2023 China Brand Day (CBD) concluded on May 14 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center. As one of the four universities providing support for CBD, SDJU sent 69 young volunteers and successfully completed designated supporting tasks.
Since May 9, SDJUyoung volunteers have been deployed gradually, providing support to 2023 CBD. With a positive and uplifting attitude, they performed remarkably in positions like check-in exchange, team discussion, audience guidance, external guidance, subway entrance guidance, exhibitor service, auxiliary management and so on. They undertook various tasks such as receiving visitors from all over the country, planning efficient visit routes, and ensuring the smooth traffic inside the exhibition center etc.
The 2023 CBD was jointly organized by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Publicity Department of CPC, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Commerce, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration of Market Regulation, the State Intellectual Property Office, and Shanghai Municipal People’s Government. The theme of this year was “Chinese Brands Shared by the World, New Power of Brand and New Quality of Life”. By building a platform for publicity, display and communication, CBD would further spread the concept of brand development, build consensus on brand development, and forge efforts for brand development. Our university valued this opportunity to contribute to CBD by careful organization and well-concerted support all the way through.
SDJU young volunteers worked hard in their respective positions, served with full enthusiasm and sincere attitude, and infected visitors with warm smiles.
Participation in 2023 CBD was just another practice of dedication by SDJU young volunteers. They put into practice the spirit of the 20th National Congress of CPC with real actions, and gained a better understanding about the leadership of the Party in developing Chinese brands in the new era. They well reflected the good spiritual outlook of Shanghai young volunteers, and the responsibility and hard work of SDJU students, which was a perfect tribute to SDJU’s coming 70th anniversary.
