Recently, according to the information released by Science and Technology Committee of Shanghai Municipality (STCSM), Prof. Li Jingchao (School of Electronics and Information Engineering) and Associate Prof. Lin Siqi (School of Materials Science and Engineering) are sponsored by 2023 Science and Technology Innovation Action Plan (STIAP) (Star Program), and Dr. Xu Xiao (School of Mechanical Engineering), Dr. Peng Wangjun (School of Materials Science and Engineering) and Dr. Cao Qiang (Kaiserslautern Kolleg für Intelligente Produktion) are sponsored by 2023 STIAP Star Program Sailing Project.
SDJU actively explores mechanism for the development of young teachers, gives full play to their innovative vitality, and continuously guides and leads their scientific research by creating necessary conditions and paving ways for them. The ever-expanding team of young SDJU S&T talentswill provide a solid backup in building SDJU into a national demonstration university of applied technology.
Organized and implemented by STCSM, Shanghai STIAP aims to select and cultivate outstanding young S&T talents, sponsors their incubating or leading S&T researches as well as development and transformation of their S&T achievement, thus helping them to stand out and become academic backbones and technical leaders.
