To render the legal education adequate for SDJU international students, on March 10th, International Educational School (IES) invited officers from Shanghai Exit-Entry Administration Bureau (EEAB) (Pudong Sub-bureau) to have a seminar regarding exit-entry policies and regulations. The seminar was presided over by Shi Ye, IES Deputy Dean.
Based on TheExit and Entry Administration Law of the People’s Republic of Chinaand recent cases, the EEAB officer elaborated on common exit-entry issues such as visa and residence permit, illegal residence, and residence registration etc.
This seminar served as an important part of SDJU legal education among international students. It had a positive role in promoting legal knowledge and enhancing the awareness of the rule of law. Furthermore, IES will seize the opportunity to further strengthen the daily management and safety education among international students, and lay a solid foundation for a safer and more harmonious campus.
