The winter chill is hidden away and spring begins to grow long. With warm breezes, the world is fragrant with the scent of plants.
On April 7, 2023, the Square of Student Affairs Center was crowded with students and teachers. Spring Party of the 22nd Club Culture Festival with the theme of “Energizing Youth and Embracing Clubs” opened simultaneously on Lin-gang and Minhang campuses. During the festival, 68 SDJU clubs such as Rice Shop Music Club, JDC Street Dance Club, CPPCC Simulation Club, Dragon Boat Club, FMS Model Club, Frisbee Club, Kwind Dance Club, and Fengxing Roller Skating Club, and clubs for law popularization, debate and so on attracted a thousand or so students and teachers to get engaged through multiple modes like cultural display, entertaining interaction, and live communication etc.
This year marks SDJU’s 70th anniversary, and on this Club Culture Festival, celebration activity manual was unveiled for the first time. The series of celebration activities include cultural events like Here I Come, SDJU Gala and Club Culture Festival, recreational and sports activities like Climbing Excursion and 70th Anniversary Jogging, practical education activities like 70th Anniversary Special Social Activity, Anniversary Celebration Volunteers, Serendipity at Lin-gang, etc. In addition, other unique activities are also arranged such as I: Introducer of SDJU History, SDJU History Link-up, SDJU in My Photo, Dear SDJU, Here’s What I Wanna Say and so on. The 70 plus activities will definitely enrich campus life, and enhance SDJUers’ sense of pride and love of SDJU through active participation.
As a window to display the diversified and splendid SDJU student clubs, this Club Culture Festival provided a perfect stage for SDJU students to show their talents. In the future, SDJU CCYL will continue to create different club activities, build more characteristic club IPs, continue to promote the healthy growth and all-round development of students, and strive to provide better platforms to cultivate aspiring, responsible, tough and striving students.
