Recently, the Ministry of Education (MOE) announced the accreditation results of the second batch national first-class undergraduate courses (NFUCs). Four courses of our university were successfully selected, a breakthrough filling the blank of SDJU NFUCs! Fundamentals of Management and Principles of Operating Systems were recognized as OMO (online-merge-offline) first-class courses, University Physics as in-person first-class course, and Virtual Simulation Experiment of Intelligent Building Control as a virtual simulation teaching first-class course.

So far, a total of 16 first-class undergraduate courses of SDJU are recognized at municipal level with 57 at school level. These 4 NFUCs fully affirms achievements of SDJU undergraduate course construction and talent cultivation.
In the next stage, SDJU will continue to align with requirements of national and Shanghai first-class undergraduate course, intensify support for course construction, give full play to the exemplary and leading role of current NFUCs, and actively introduce new concepts to faculty. SDJU will also continue to promote curriculum reform and innovation, implement scientific curriculum evaluation, manage curriculum strictly, improve the quality-oriented curriculum construction incentive mechanism, build multi-type and diversified teaching content and curriculum system, and update undergraduate education to a new level.
