Team of Prof. Wang Xianghu Invited to Publish Latest Research Results by Materials Today Physics

14/04/2023

Recently, the team of Prof. Wang Xianghu from the School of Materials Science and Engineering (SMSE) accepted the invitation of the editor-in-chief of the world-class journal Materials Today Physics (MTP) (11.021/Q1), and published the paper titled High-temporal Dynamic β-Ga203 Ultraviolet Solar-blind Photodetector via Heteroepitaxy Single Crystalline Film.

MTP is an authoritative academic journal in the field of international materials science research. The above paper about third-generation wide-band-gap semiconductor β-Ga203 device is the second research result published by Prof. Wang as the corresponding author on MTP this year. The research is jointly sponsored by Regional Innovation Joint Fund of National Natural Science Foundation of China (Key Program and General Program), Shanghai Natural Science Foundation, etc.

R&D of ultraviolet solar-blind photodetectors has always been a key strategy for countries around the world. In recent years, more than 10 related research results by Prof. Wang’s team have been published in authoritative international journals such as MTP, Applied Physics Letters, Nanomaterials, etc., with more than 300 citations and wide international recognition.

In recent years, SMSE has been continuing to promote disciplinary research and condense disciplinary characteristics. In accordance with its “small yet refined” development goal, SMSE has been striving to facilitate its disciplinary development through recruiting talent, building research teams, establishing research platforms, and applying and finishing major scientific research projects, thus ensuring significant achievements in large forgings, thermoelectric and optoelectronic semiconductor materials and devices. (By SMSE)
