NUEDC is one of the undergraduate discipline competitions jointly launched by Ministry of Education and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It aims to promote the reform of curriculum system and content of university information and electronics subjects, and help cultivate undergraduates’ practical innovative consciousness and basic ability, their humanistic spirit of team cooperation and their study style of integrating theory with practice. NUEDC is a Class A competition in SDJU innovation and entrepreneurship discipline competition list.

The 2021 NUEDC retest teams were selected from the list of recommended teams in each competition area. SDJU SEIE organized competition for NUEDC Shanghai, and 13 teams from the S EIE, School of Electrical Engineering and School of Higher Vocational Education attended.

Before the competition, our university further improved participant ability through lectures and one-on-one guidance by experts. During the competition, according to the requirements of the Organizing Committee of NUEDC Shanghai, SDJU NUEDC task force improved various safeguard measures, orderly promoted competition process, and helped participating teams perform their best.

NUEDC of this year well promoted learning, teaching and innovation on campus, and effectively improved practical ability, innovation consciousness and ability of students majoring in electronics and electrical engineering in our university, which played a positive role in further promoting SDJU discipline construction and teaching reform. It also benefited teaching quality and school running. (Xing Yifang and Li Yanxia)
