Lecturer Profile: Xiao Hailin, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor in School of Computer Science and Information Engineering, Hubei University. He is a Distinguished Professor of Hubei Province “Chutian Scholars”, Distinguished Professor of Zhejiang Province “Qianjiang Scholars”, Outstanding Expert of Guangxi, Excellent Youth of Guangxi, a Senior Member of IEEE, and a Senior Member of Chinese Institute of Electronics. He visited Heriot-Watt University and University of Southampton in the UK for more than two years. He led more than 20 national projects and provincial key R&D projects. He published more than 200 SCI/EI journal papers at home and abroad as the first author or corresponding author (top-ranked), and has been awarded more than 40 national invention patents (8 results have been transformed into economic profits of tens of millions of RMB a year), 2 international/domestic standard proposals, 2 provincial and ministerial awards, 1 textbook and 2 monographs. He is also an editorial board member of 2 international journals, and attended international conferences as TPC 8 times and made specially-invited presentations.
