On the morning of April 28th, the first SDJU Smart Car Competition and Craftsman Cup Innovative Design Competition, sponsored by Teaching Affairs Office and undertaken by the School of Mechanical Engineering, were held in Conference Room 308 of the School of Mechanical Engineering.
The success of these two competitions provides a platform for teachers and students to exchange innovative and entrepreneurial achievements and experiences, which also stimulated students’ enthusiasm for innovation and entrepreneurship, demonstrated achievements of innovation and entrepreneurship education in our university, spotted SDJU talents for subject competition, and served to cultivate students’ innovative consciousness and team spirit in scientific research and exploration. In addition, the competitions practiced students’ ability of engineering specialty in engineering application, improved their comprehensive application ability of professional knowledge of integrating theory with practice, and laid a foundation for our university to achieve excellent results in East China Smart Car Competition. They are of great significance to create an atmosphere of scientific and technological innovation on campus.TheSchool of Mechanical Engineering will take this opportunity to promote scientific and innovative atmosphere among students and provide a solid guarantee for promoting the school’s teaching reform. SDJU will also continue to support the development of college student competitions, constantly improve the level of competition, and works hard to create a brand of its own.
