Recently, Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau awarded a 4A bronze medal and corresponding certificate to SDJU Education Development Foundation (EDF). According to the pertinent Regulations of Social Organization Assessment (Order No. 39 by Ministry of Civil Affairs), Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau issued an announcement in December 2020, confirming assessment results of the second group of social organizations—SDJU EDF was rated as a 4A level social organization.
Since its establishment, SDJU EDF has committed to improving teaching quality and academic standard, and promoting education and public benefit. EDF raises money from members of Alumni Council, EDF Council, alumni and donations. It boasts standardized management and efficient use of donated funds and materials in support of SDJU teaching research, rewarding excellent teachers and students, funding academic exchanges and cooperation, and continuously promoting development of public welfare undertakings.
