On the afternoon of December 29, 2020, the signing and launching ceremony to further the ideological and political integration among schools of Pudong New Area was held at Jincai High School. Yang Junjie, SDJU Vice President, attended and signed memos with Vocational and Technical School Affiliated to Shanghai Maritime University and Shanghai Lin-gang S&T School.
In March 2019, CPC General Secretary Xi Jinping presided over a forum focusing on ideological and political theory in education sector and delivered an important speech, prioritizing the integration of the ideological and political courses in universities, middle schools and primary schools to bring out the full potential for their development. This memo-signing for cooperative pairs displayed distinctive characteristics of Pudong New Area, by means of relying on education group and school district, linking-up vocational, polytechnic schools with colleges and universities, and setting up collaborative pairs, aiming to explore and establish a linkage mechanism to research, manage and evaluate ideological and political integration in Pudong, improve ideological and political education in different schools, and strive to hatch more “Pudong experience”.
