SDJU Industrial Design Center (Nantong Studio) invited to World Industrial Design Conference
The 2019 World Industrial Design Conference (and the Design Industry Expo) was convened in Yantai, Shandong Province, with its theme “Design, the light of kinetic energy”. More than 2000 attending experts, scholars, entrepreneurs, designers, innovation leaders as well as participants from government agencies and industry organizations came from more than 40 countries and regions. With design industry as the core, participants have launched a series of fruitful sharing, discussion, exchange and cooperation in accelerating transformation of new and old driving forces and promoting high-quality development. SDJU Industrial Design Center (Nantong Studio) was also invited.
With new ideas and new models, China Industrial Design Association, together with more than 40 design organizations over the world, held the Design Industry Expo to display the innovative works of design-driven industry. SDJU Industrial Design Center (Nantong Studio) participated and exchanged ideas with industry leaders from various fields on site.
Tang Xuehua, dean of SDJU School of Art and Design, Zhou Zhiyong, director of SDJU Industrial Design Institute, Niu Xiaoduo, general manager of SDJU Industrial Design Center (Nantong Studio), Hu Lianhua, director of Science and Technology Bureau of Rudong County, Yu Zhanghong, deputy director of Science and Technology Bureau of Rudong County, Shen Yuxin, secretary of the Party Committee of Xindian Town, Rudong County, Cao Wei, mayor of the town, and Xu Hongbin, deputy mayor of the town, attended the conference.
Mr. Xu Kemin, director of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Mr. Liu Ning, president of the China Industrial Design Association, also came and experienced new products. (Huang Jue)
