SDJU at 21st China International Industry Fair


On September 17, the 21st China International Industry Fair (CIIF) was solemnly inaugurated in Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center (NCEC). For this fair, SDJU carefully selected from School of Electrical Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering and School of Design and Art six projects, including Mobile Wireless Charging System Based on Magnetic Coupling Resonance, Intelligent BLDC Motor System Based on Bluetooth Wireless Control, Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV), Super-efficient Stainless Electric Machinery, Near-net Forming Method of Large and High-end Ship Crank, and Shaping and Repair Power Source for Winding Bar of High-power Electric Machinery, which represented the latest SDJU technological achievements from high-end, intelligent, and environmental-friendly perspectives.


In the morning, Liu Hongbin, the deputy director of Science and Technology Development Center of the Ministry of Education, led by staff from Science and Technology Development Center of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, visited SDJU booth. Liu Hongbin, accompanied by SDJU vice-president, Liu Donghui, listened to the introduction of exhibits, which was made by the director of SDJU Science and Technology Department, Zhao Chaohui. Deputy director Liu highly praised the scientific value of SDJU exhibits.

On the early morning, Sun Peilei, SDJU Secretary of the Party Committee, and Vice-president Chen Donghui made a personal appearance and discussed scientific research with project leaders.


Then, Xu Chensheng, the secretary-general of Shanghai Electric Machinery Association (SEMA), and Cao Junjun, deputy director of Nanxun Science and Technology Bureau, also visited, and discussed with director Zhao development trend of electric machinery and the joint construction of the innovative service complex in electric machinery industry with Nanxun Town respectively.

CIIF serves as a significant platform for universities to display their scientific and technological achievements, and SDJU has participated 13 times so far. These wonderful experiences not only help to forge SDJU image, but also make S&T achievements accessible to the society. For S&T teachers, CIIF stands as a good opportunity to expand horizon by getting to know the state-of-the-art development, therefore SDJU faculty and students as well pay high attention to this exhibition.
