Freshmen Welcome Party by the School of Materials Science and the Sino-German College for Product Intelligence
On the evening of November 6, the School of Materials Science (SMS) and the Sino-German College for Product Intelligence (CDKIP) jointly held the Welcome Party – “Flourishing New Start” - for 2019 freshmen. Liu Zhichao, deputy secretary of party branch and deputy dean of SMS, Su Qinggang, deputy secretary of the party branch and deputy dean of the CDKIP, Gao Yu, deputy dean of the CDKIP, and two counselors attended the party.
The evening party unveiled in the expectation of all guests and audience. Midian Music Bar sang a song of Autumn Leaves in the Night Breeze. The simple singing backed by guitar, drums, and other instruments, sent good wishes into the hearts of freshmen. With the sound of the piano, the soft singing started slowly. Many singers performed Beyond the Lake. The gradual acceleration of the rhythm deeply rooted in people’s hearts. When it ended, the applause was thunderous and the atmosphere reached a climax. SMS assistant counsellors drew a perfect ending with dancing. They threw away their usual seriousness and expressed deep feelings and good wishes to the freshmen by warm dance. The evening party successfully ended with bursts of applause.
A letter of admission coming from SDJU made would-be freshmen really cheerful, for ten years of hard study finally proved rewarding. With a new chapter unfolding in front of you, we wish you all treasure your youth, and live a colorful yet fruitful university life in SDJU!
