China Daily reporter Lia Zhu writes that Shanghai Dianji University has recently opened an innovation centre in San Francisco. The centre was set up ‘to strengthen cooperation and exchanges with US universities’ ‘as part of the strategic partnership between the university and the Shanghai Lingang Economic Development (Group) Co Ltd, the third largest industrial park developer in China,’ explains Zhu.
